Notes: - Assistants act on behalf of their assigned therapists. Their scope is limited to the organization (org‑wide assignment) or to specific therapists. - When a user holds multiple roles, capabilities combine. If both therapist roles are present, they remain functionally identical unless otherwise noted in feature pages.

Principal Role

  • When multiple roles are assigned, a Principal Role must be selected during invitation. It clarifies reporting, default views, and day‑to‑day behavior.
  • Role composition can’t be changed directly in the app after invitation; contact support for changes.

Assistant assignment

  • Assistants may be assigned to the entire organization or to specific therapists.
  • A therapist can have only one dedicated assistant when “assign to specific therapists” is used.
  • An assistant can support multiple therapists.
  • Therapists already assigned to another assistant won’t appear in the selection list when assigning.

For how to configure assignments, see: Members → Manage assistant assignments.

FAQs

• Can one person be both a therapist and an assistant? Yes. Capabilities combine. If they’re also assigned as an assistant, they can perform assistant tasks for their assigned scope while retaining their therapist capabilities.

• Do psychiatrists and psychologists differ in permissions? Functionally they are identical in the current version. Differences may appear in future updates and will be documented on the relevant feature pages.

• Can I change a user’s roles later? Roles are selected at invitation time. Changing them later requires support. See Members.
